Moonlight Davis and Friends perform for the Eliot Street Cafe's first anniversary party. Come hear super soul singer Moonlight Davis rip it up with Morningstar Chenven also on vocals, Eugene Uman on piano and Derrik Jordan on electric violin and congas. This is also a benefit for Partners In Health, a group that raises money for Haitian relief.

Impulse Ensemble celebrates the release of it's first CD. This world fusion power trio has only been together since the fall but the chemistry is working really well. High energy percussion, elecgtric violin and electric lute with African and Middle Eastern overtones. Spontaneous improvisation is the core of this band's way of working together. Tony Vacca, Derrik Jordan and Jim Matus have been deeply involved in world music since the 1970's. $10 admission. Pay $20 and it includes the CD.
