SuperString Theory - Exotic Duets and Improvisations
Derrik Jordan

Story

This one has a world fusion Indian vibe and a very open feeling. I also did an arrangement of this tune for the first movement of my piece "Windham Loops" for full orchestra.

Derrik Jordan and Steve Leicach

Story

A duet with my dear friend Steve Leicach playing the balafon. It creates a good platform for interplay between us.

Story

Carnation or the body alive in this life as in "Incarnation." Also the flower. The blood and the beating of life. This tune reminds of Indian and Middle Eastern styles.

SuperString Theory - Exotic Duets and Improvisations
Derrik Jordan and Nebulai

Story

Duet with Nebulai (Jack Faulkner) on didgeridoo. He really goes for it on this tune and gets to a new level. He almost fell over when he finished this improvisation with me. it uses an Asian scale and creates an air of mystery.

Story

This simple raga written many years ago while I was waiting for my girlfriend to get off work in a bar/restaurant. It just came to me so I wrote it down. It's in 5/4 but seems so natural. I'm not sure what style it is in. Some kind of world fusion.
