Lyrics

Something's Gonna Change

Something's gonna change, I know
When we speak of peace while we're stockpiling armaments
Something's gonna change, I know
For we pollute the earth as if there were no consequence

Governments are playing God
While upon our backs they trod
And our destiny they prod into war that will surely destroy every living thing

Something's gonna change, I know
For survival has become the challenge of the age
Something's gonna change, I know
When politicians read their lines like actors on a stage

Someone's starving at the feast
Angry souls disturb the peace
Here in the belly of the beast
You're a mob when you can't get a job and you gotta eat

Something's gonna change, I know
When technology grows faster than our consciousness
Something's gonna change, I know
For we can't expect the young to bear our carelessness
